Family and Friends,
Hello Y'all! This week was an excellent week.
We weren't able to meet with our main investigator, as she was sick, but we did
get to see lots of other good things happen this week.
On Saturday we had one of
the Hispanic youth kids come out with us for a little bit, and we were able to
teach a lesson or two with him. He's fantastic! We also were able to become
really good friends with one of the less actives in our area, and even got him
as well to come out and teach a lesson with us! And after a little bit of time,
we were able to catch up with a part member family and share a good message with
them about the Plan of Salvation.
Kind of focusing on that point, the
Plan of Salvation, I've been so blessed on my mission to be able to better
understand and see the blessings of God's plan. Yesterday I was asked to teach
Elder's Quorum and the topic of the lesson was Optimism. I'm so grateful for the
Gospel of Jesus Christ and for the happiness and blessings that it affords us.
Not only in this life, but in the life after as well! Sometimes it can be hard
to maintain that optimistic opinion, but if you take some time and think about
it, we have every reason to be optimistic! I know that if we are having
struggles in our life, that we can sit back and count the many blessings that
God has given us. We can press forward with enthusiasm, and love!
I know that
this Gospel is true, and that it is a Gospel of happiness. With that, I hope
y'all have a fantastic week!
Love,
Elder Adams
